Peer-to-Peer networks can be installed and/or setup to accomodate companies with 2-10 computers on a network. Depending on current needs, the same company may require a Microsoft Windows NT Server, Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server, or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.

Companies with 11 or more computers on a network must use a server on their network. Needs may require anything from Microsoft Windows NT Server to Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server/BackOffice Business Server to Microsoft Windows 2000 Server/Advanced Server.
